Instructions:

For the zucchini strudel, first prepare the dough. Prepare a dampfl from the warm milk, the dry yeast, a few spoonfuls of flour and the sugar and let it rise in a warm place.

In the meantime prepare the filling. Wash the zucchini, peel if necessary and grate coarsely. Salt and let stand as well. Finely chop the onion and fry in oil. When the dampfl has risen nicely, melt the butter and mix the remaining ingredients with the dampfl and let it rise again in a warm place.

Squeeze the zucchini, mix with the roasted onions, the cream and pepper. Roll out the dough on a baking tray and spread the zucchini filling on it.

Fold the dough and brush with oil. Bake in the oven at about 200 °C.

Preparation Tip:

If you like, you can also make the zucchini strudel with feta or feta cheese.
