For the Shepherd’s Pie brown the onion and mince in fat, dust with flour and pour soup. Add chopped spices, garlic, paradeis pulp and vinegar to taste and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.

Remove the peel from the potatoes, cut them and boil them in unsalted tap water on the stove for about 20 minutes until soft. Drain the water and mash the potatoes with butter and milk. Add some more flavor with salt and pepper.

Spread the mince in an ovenproof greased dish, cover with mashed potatoes and sprinkle with cheese. Bake the Shepherd’s Pie in the oven at 180°C for about 20-30 minutes until the cheese has melted.

Preparation Tip:

Use fresh thyme for the Shepherd's Pie for an aromatic flavor note!
