Instructions:

Line baking tray with baking paper. Cut open the vanilla pod and scrape out the seeds.

For the dough, knead butter, flour, powdered sugar, cornstarch and 3/4 of the vanilla pulp into a dough. Form a roll, cut it into pieces and roll them into small balls. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the oven at 150 °C (convection oven) for about 15 minutes.

In the meantime, mix the remaining powdered sugar with the remaining vanilla pulp. Turn the freshly baked balls in it while they are still warm.

Preparation Tip:

If there is any vanilla powdered sugar left over after rolling, simply use it when making your next cookie dough!
