Instructions:

Sauté bacon, onion and a little bit of garlic. Add the pearl barley and dust lightly with flour. Add 1 l of soup or water and cook until tender with salt, soup powder, bay leaf spice, diced carrots and celery. Finish with sauerkraut and a little whipped cream.
