For the pasta casserole, melt butter in a saucepan, add flour and sweat briefly. Then stir in milk.
Bring the sauce to a boil and continue to cook on low heat for 2 minutes and continue to stir. Add cheese, ham, tomatoes, salt, pepper, ketchup, diced vegetables.
Then mix the cooked pasta with the sauce. Pour into a baking dish and sprinkle with cheese. Bake the pasta casserole for 20-25 minutes at 200°C in the oven.
Preparation Tip:
I also often vary the pasta casserole with diced peppers (yellow, red and green) or also add corn. This makes the casserole quite colorful and the kids love to eat it.
