For the slaw, remove the outer leaves from the cabbage head and divide it into 1/8 pieces. Using the Kenwood machine, shave the cabbage. (Alternatively, finely cut into noodles).

Finely slice the onion and dice the smoked meat. In a large pot, heat the oil. Fry the onion and the smoked meat until crispy brown.

Add the shaved cabbage and fry briefly. Add plenty of water and season. Put the lid on and let the cabbage steam for about 15 minutes on a low flame.

Season to taste and serve.

Preparation Tip:

Vinegar is not necessary in this coleslaw, but you can add it.
